Audio visual announcements should be on all public transport services across the UK?
Audio visual announcments are useful to blind and partially sighted passengers on trains, trams and buses. However, they are inconsistent across the UK and often limited to services in bigger cities like London, Manchester, Glasgow. etc.
Why the contribution is important
If all services had audio visual announcements for 'next stop is...' or 'this ios the service to...' then blind and partially sighted people would be more confident travelling and making unfamiliar journeys. Thoughts?
